Local ingredients and produce made at our own farm

Local food tastes best. This is why we mainly use produce grown and made in the Paznaun valley in our kitchen and for the outstanding dishes we serve you. Some of these ingredients come from our very own farm, one of the largest agricultural players of the whole valley.

One example of these products is our excellent cheese made by Hermann and his sons at the Faulbrunnalm. It is not only one of the favourites of our guests but also of the jury of the annual International Cheese Olympic taking place in Galtür. By the way: you cannot only enjoy our cheese in the Hotel Rössle but also take some home with you. The cheese can now be purchased at the Hotel Almhof in the Genussladl, open from 8-21 hrs.

Our restaurant will not only impress you with delicious dishes but also with a cosy atmosphere you will feel immediately at home in. One of the most interesting parts is our Paznauner Stube, a dining room full of traditions.

Of course, there is a reason behind its rustic ambience: the creaking wooden floor, the panelling and the wooden ceiling give you a hint of its lively 400-year-old history.
